My knowledge and skills come from my education and prior work experience. I have a B.S in Business Management with a Concentration in Small Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Phoenix; along with many accounting and tax credits.
I worked for NM State Government as a Tax Auditor, Real Property Asset Manager, Non-profit Contract Auditor, and State Agency Internal Auditor. Prior to working for the government, I worked in retail and banking. In February 2019, I left the workforce to care for my children (12, 2 and 1 years). Now I am pursuing my career dream as a business owner; specializing in Bookkeeping, Tax Preparation, and Business Planning for small businesses and individuals.
I continue to advance my skills and knowledge in various methods, such as reading books, taking online courses, researching, listening to podcasts, and more. If I am not familiar with a specific skill or knowledge I will research and train myself to master it. I am also studying to sit for the Enrolled Agent exams.
I am very reliable and trustworthy with great time management skills. I am also detail-oriented and disciplined by having worked for many agencies who required me to follow a strict protocol. I have a passion for working hard to prosper in my business and career. You will be very satisfied with my work and partnership. I understand the struggles of being a business owner and the costs. When I am not working, I am taking care of my family. I am a wife and a mother of two boys and one girl. My interests are baking, cooking, fishing, hiking, and reading. I love devotionals and reading the bible with my family and friends, praying, and being a devoted daughter of God.
